Here is the initial photo of a young boy who was tragically killed during a family event in Ladbroke Grove.

15-year-old Rene Graham tragically lost his life at the Park Lime Caribbean event in Emslie Horniman's Pleasance Park as the event was coming to a close at approximately 7:20pm on Sunday, July 21st.

Detective Chief Superintendent Christina Jessah, who oversees law enforcement in Kensington and Chelsea, stated: "A young boy has sadly passed away and our sympathy goes out to his loved ones during this difficult time. We will offer them ongoing specialized assistance."

I know that people, especially those who live and work nearby, will be surprised and worried about what happened. We at the Met are also worried and are using everything we can to find the people responsible.

This inquiry is just beginning and we are considering all possibilities for why this happened. It will take us a while to gather all the information needed and this will be our main focus in the upcoming days.

We want to talk to anyone else who saw what happened when the shooting occurred. There was a gathering happening and it's likely that some people were taking pictures or recording videos. Please review your footage to see if you have any information that could assist the investigators.

People living in this area will notice a large number of police officers around. They are there to make you feel safe and secure - don't hesitate to talk to them if you have any worries.

Heartbreaking events like this serve as a crucial reminder of why it is essential to keep prioritizing the prevention of violence and gun-related crimes, as well as apprehending those responsible for putting our communities at risk.

Four young men, two who are 21 years old and the others who are 20 and 25 years old, were taken into custody on suspicion of murder. They are currently being held by the authorities. An earlier report, released during the initial phases of the inquiry, mistakenly claimed that six individuals had been apprehended.

A crime scene is still being investigated.
