Kylie Minogue has released a fresh single titled “Lights Camera Action.” This upbeat dance track was created by producer Lewis Thompson, with Kylie, Thompson, and Ina Wroldsen contributing to the writing. Later today, Minogue will unveil a music video for the song, which was directed by Sophie Muller and filmed in Budapest.

The single comes with a variety of remixes featuring artists like Confidence Man, Zach Witness, and Jaconda.

“Lights Camera Action” is the premiere track from Kylie Minogue's upcoming album, Tension II, set to be released on October 18 through Mushroom Music. This album serves as a follow-up to her 2023 project, Tension. Featuring 13 songs, it will include previously released collaborations such as “Edge of Saturday Night” with the Blessed Madonna, “My Oh My” featuring Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo, “Midnight Ride” with Orville Peck and Diplo, and “Dance Alone” alongside Sia.

To promote her album, Minogue is set to launch her Tension Tour 2025 next year. The global tour will start in Australia in February, then move on to Asia and the U.K. in May. More dates for Europe, North America, and South America will be revealed soon.

"I’m really excited to connect with fans globally and celebrate the Tension era and beyond," Minogue expressed in a statement. "It’s been an incredible journey up to this point, and now it's time for your moment to shine because I’ll be saying Lights, Camera, Action... and there will definitely be plenty of Padaming!"

In an interview with ABC News Australia earlier this week, Minogue announced that her upcoming tour will feature "the biggest hits," while also mentioning that she plans to include some unique surprises. She expressed her desire for the performances to be "uplifting and joyful." "I really want the audience to experience that vibe through the show and the music," Minogue remarked.

She mentioned that the new single is really captivating. It's a lot of fun, and you'll likely find yourself casually saying "Lights Camera Action" in everyday conversation from now on.

Earlier this year, Minogue received a Grammy Award for Best Dance Pop Recording for her popular song "Padam Padam," featured on her album Tension.
