Reports from local media indicate that Kylian Mbappe has faced allegations of rape and sexual harassment at a hotel in Sweden.

Mbappe dismissed a report today as 'false information' regarding an alleged assault that supposedly took place at the hotel where he was staying with friends last week.

However, the Swedish publication Expressen reports that it is Mbappe who is under police investigation following claims made against the Real Madrid player.

The soccer player was in Sweden with friends from Wednesday to Friday last week, and they stayed at the Bank Hotel located in the heart of the city.

Reports suggest that the supposed incident of sexual assault occurred on Thursday. Earlier that evening, Mbappe dined at the Chez Jolie restaurant, then went to the V nightclub, and eventually returned to his hotel in a black van with his group.

Today, Mbappe posted a news article on X regarding an alleged sexual assault at a hotel and commented, "This is fake news! It's getting really predictable, coming out just before the hearing, almost like it's a coincidence."

Tomorrow, a hearing will occur as he continues his battle with his old club, PSG, regarding £46 million owed to him in unpaid salaries and bonuses.

Last week, the football player spent time in Sweden with friends from Wednesday to Friday, and they were staying at the Bank Hotel located in the heart of the city.

According to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, authorities are looking into a reported rape incident that took place at the Bank Hotel in central Stockholm, where Mbappe was lodging. This incident reportedly occurred on Thursday night.

On Thursday, the Real Madrid player stopped by the Chez Jolie restaurant (seen in the photo as he leaves with his friends). After dining, he made his way to the V nightclub and later returned to his hotel in a black van accompanied by his group.

Expressen reported that a police report was made two days later.

The Swedish publication Aftonbladet has reported that authorities are looking into a rape incident that is said to have occurred at a hotel in central Stockholm on Thursday night.

On Monday, according to Aftonbladet, detectives and a forensic team were present at the site of the supposed crime.

The newspaper stated that concerns about the supposed rape were brought to light when the woman went to a nearby hospital for help.

On Friday, Mbappe departed from Bromma Airport in Sweden aboard a private jet.

The prosecutor overseeing the rape investigation chose not to provide any comments on the matter, stating to local news outlets, "I have no comments to share about this."

The police in Stockholm provided a comparable statement to MailOnline through their spokesperson, Carina Skagerlind, saying, "The police cannot confirm or deny the existence of this case."

As reported by Aftonbladet, there have been no suspects identified in the case so far.

MailOnline has reached out to both the local prosecutor's office and Bank Hotel for their statements.

This situation arises just before the hearing scheduled for tomorrow, regarding the £46 million in unpaid bonuses and salaries that PSG has been instructed to pay to Mbappe.

Mbappe was scheduled to receive a signing bonus in February and still has unpaid salaries from his seven years in Paris before he moved to Real Madrid in June.

PSG has declined to pay the amount and is not complying with the decision made by the LFP, the governing body of professional football in France.

It has been reported that Mbappe reached out to UEFA regarding the salary disagreement last month.

On Thursday night, while Mbappe was spotted at the V nightclub in Stockholm, his French national team colleagues secured a 4-1 victory over Israel.

Mbappe played for the French national team that clinched the World Cup title in 2018. He has netted 48 goals in 86 appearances for his country, which places him as the third highest goal scorer in France's history.

Mbappe has come under fire in his native France for not participating in the Nations League matches against Israel and Belgium, even though he was able to play for his club, Real Madrid.

The footballer suffered a hamstring muscle injury last month but came back to play as a substitute during his team's Champions League loss at Lille last Wednesday, after which he appeared to head off to Stockholm.

He participated in the majority of Real Madrid's match against Villarreal over the weekend, but expressed that he requires additional rest to aid in his recovery from a hamstring injury.

France's coach Didier Deschamps revealed that he decided not to include Mbappe in the national team roster, citing the 25-year-old's lack of readiness due to insufficient match play.

In a video that the French Football Federation (FFF) shared on Monday, Deschamps mentioned, "Kylian represents many aspects... the priorities of club teams and national teams will naturally differ."

It's important to keep in mind that the organization you work for is the club, not the governing body.

Mbappe serves as the captain of the French national team, and with both him and vice-captain Antoine Griezmann absent from some matches, Deschamps mentioned that other players need to step up and fill their roles.

He was a member of the French squad that triumphed in the World Cup in 2018 and has netted 48 goals in 86 appearances for his nation, positioning him as the third all-time leading scorer for France.
