The Love Life Of Kristin Scott Thomas

Before marrying John, Kristin had been living in France since she was 19 and was previously married to a French obstetrician and gynecologist named François Olivennes. He received the Légion d'Honneur in 2011 from then-president Nicolas Sarkozy in recognition of his contributions to the medical field.

They got married in 1987 but ended their marriage in 2005. Together, they have three kids: Hannah, who is 35, Joseph, who is 33, and George, who is 24.

In 2006, there were speculations that Kristin was involved with fellow actor Tobias Menzies, known for his role in The Crown. Then, in 2014, she was also rumored to be seeing Arpad Busson, who is the former partner of Uma Thurman and Elle Macpherson. However, Kristin never confirmed either of these relationships.

In 2013, she made an uncommon lighthearted comment, suggesting that men would "flee" instead of wanting to be in a relationship with her.

She shared with The Sunday Telegraph, "Maintaining relationships is really challenging with a lifestyle like mine. I'm rarely in the same location for more than a few weeks."

She explained, "When I commit to a task, I need to fully dedicate myself to it and set aside any personal matters."

"I can manage to make a quick phone call during my lunch break, but I really can’t handle much more than that. It’s kind of a way for me to escape reality. If life at home gets too hectic, I just dive into work! It allows me to leave my troubles behind and take on a different persona."
