UK Government Buildings Lower Flags, BBC ‘all Black’; Netizens Ponder King Charles Or Kate’s Demise

According to a user on X (previously known as Twitter), certain government buildings in the United Kingdom are displaying flags at half-mast. They also noted that the BBC has reverted back to using an all-black theme.

The user stated that either King Charles has passed away or he has stepped down from his throne. Alternatively, they speculated that Kate Middleton has died. The user further commented, "People are talking about the death of King Charles in the streets?"

However, there are others who are also making the same claim as the user X.

Another person wrote that there's a rumor going around that King Charles passed away on Saint Patrick's Day.

Several people on social media mentioned that March 17 is Saint Patrick's Day, a festive occasion for Ireland. This was in relation to Princess Diana, as some believe she had ancestral ties to Ireland.

On March 15, King Charles departed from Windsor Castle following the announcement of Ian Farquhar's passing at the king's Highgrove estate, whom the monarch had a long-standing friendship with. The king appeared solemn as he was transported to an undisclosed destination.

Recently, Charles had to undergo cancer treatment at The London Clinic after it was discovered during a hospital visit for an unrelated issue. Although he did have prostate surgery at the same facility, the Palace assures that it was not due to cancer and Charles does not have prostate cancer in any way. Due to medical advice, he has been advised to cut back on certain public activities, but he still manages to meet Rishi Sunak, the UK Prime Minister, every week.

He had a busy schedule on March 14, as he met with a few notable individuals. He had the pleasure of conversing with the High Commissioner of Jamaica along with his wife at Buckingham Palace. He also engaged in a video call with the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, prior to that. Additionally, he held meetings with the ambassadors representing Algeria and Mauritania.

According to reports, the BBC Events team received an urgent message from the Royal Family informing them to be prepared for a crucial announcement that could come at any moment. There are suspicions that the announcement may pertain to Kate, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Lauren and Chen, also known as the duo behind the 'Popapologists' podcast, recently uploaded a TikTok video where they discussed the current state of Princess Kate's well-being. The sisters went on to highlight that the princess skipped the Trooping the Colour event this past June.

The 42-year-old Princess Kate has not made any public appearances since undergoing abdominal surgery in January. Recently, she issued an apology for "manipulating" a photo that was released by the palace featuring her with her three children. This has sparked further interest in her wellbeing and whereabouts amongst the public.
