LBC has reported that MP Ayoub Khan from the 'Independent Alliance' received a threatening letter on Monday.
Ayoub Khan, the Member of Parliament representing Birmingham Perry Barr, shared with LBC that he was sent a letter containing a death threat earlier this week.
Mr Khan was recently named as one of the five members of the Independent Alliance group of MPs with Jeremy Corbyn. He won against Labour MP Khalid Mahmoud in July's election.
The recently elected Member of Parliament has criticized Conservative MP and leadership contender Kemi Badenoch for making "dangerous", "misleading" and "disrespectful" statements that have added to the threats he has received.

SPECIAL: A Member of Parliament in Jeremy Corbyn's Independent Alliance holds Kemi Badenoch accountable for a death threat due to her 'Islamist' accusation.
During a speech in her campaign for leadership, Kemi Badenoch, who is the Shadow Business Secretary, addressed Conservative party members. She expressed her concerns about the five new MPs from Reform UK, stating that she was particularly worried about the five newly elected MPs who were supported by sectarian, Islamist politics and ideas that do not belong in our society.
When questioned about those remarks, Ayoub Khan told LBC that what concerns him are the threats on his life that he has been receiving this week.
"She needs to think about her words as a member of parliament. She has a responsibility to consider the impact of her comments, as they can contribute to spreading hate in our society."
Mr Khan stated that it is disrespectful not only to the parliamentarians but also to their constituents. He said that it is insincere and complete nonsense to claim that he has been leading a campaign against a particular community.
When you consider the recent remarks made by individuals such as Kemi Badenoch about Independent MPs, it is clear that they are making divisive and harmful comments that only serve to stir up hatred in our community.
LBC received the letter shortly after Mrs. Badenoch's speech, and it has been forwarded to the Metropolitan Police for review.
The Met Police's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection team gathered the literature, which will be included in Operation Bridger, a police operation across the country to safeguard Members of Parliament.
When questioned about the incident, Ayoub Khan told LBC that he had received a letter and had given it to the police to investigate. He mentioned that the contents of the letter were similar to the statements made by Kemi Badenoch.
A person who knows Mr. Khan well stated that the MP has regularly been accused of being a terrorist and supporting terrorism on the internet and social networking platforms.
LBC also knows that Ayoub Khan met with House of Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle on Tuesday morning to talk about the situation. A representative for the Speaker mentioned that they would not discuss matters related to security.
Kemi Badenoch MP has been asked to provide a statement.
