Keanu Reeves shared a detailed retelling of the moment he injured his kneecap while working on a film during his guest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

"Did you leap from one building to another? Did you perform a cartwheel over razor blades? What were you up to?" Stephen inquired.

'No, Stephen, as I was entering the dressing room, I had a quick story to share,' Keanu explained.

He talked about filming a scene for the new comedy movie Good Fortune with actors Aziz Ansari, 41, and Seth Rogen, 42. They were in a cold pool while shooting the scene.

Keanu expressed his enjoyment of the activity and afterward, he was seen doing a dance to warm himself up.

He explained that he was doing the "cold shuffle" in a room with carpeting for protection when his foot became stuck in a crease while shuffling.

Keanu got up and went over to Stephen's desk to show how he fell down and his knee gave out.

"And I shot up. I mean, shot up," Keanu exclaimed as he demonstrated his knee moving downward.

"I completely wrecked it," Stephen exclaimed.

'Absolutely, it was definitely humor,' Keanu affirmed.

"Welcome to the inside scoop on my life," Stephen quipped.
