Kate Moss has turned 50 years old. Would you have ever guessed? Apparently, she finds it hard to believe herself.

"I refuse to acknowledge that I'm turning 50. I haven't given it much thought and definitely don't feel my age," the model shared before her milestone birthday, which is occurring today. However, she may have to face the reality at some point.

Maybe the issue is that she could recall it in the future? Lately, the lady who used to be a bit of a wild child has transformed into a wellness expert - think of Gwyneth Paltrow who smokes - by introducing her own beauty products called Cosmoss which promises to provide for the "wellness of the mind and body" and has an item called "sacred mist" which costs £125 for just 100ml.

During an interview with a newspaper, she talked about her peaceful life after leaving London in Little Faringdon, located in the west part of Oxfordshire. She enjoys swimming in the wild, practicing meditation, yoga, and repeating positive affirmations like trusting the universe. She also has a garden where she grows vegetables. Sometimes she charges her crystals under the full moon. Going out at night is not her thing anymore, and if she does go out, she leaves before midnight.

Wow, it's quite a surprising change from the woman we're used to seeing under the influence. Back in 1995, she had a wild 21st birthday bash at the Viper Room in LA organized by her then-partner Johnny Depp. Michael Hutchence performed while Jason Donovan had to be taken out on a stretcher due to drug use.

She celebrated her 30th birthday with a party inspired by "Beautiful and Damned", where guests like Stella McCartney, Sadie Frost, Ronnie Wood, and Naomi Campbell were present. However, according to rumors from the tabloids, the party ended at Claridge's hotel in a way that was deemed immoral and could have been depicted by William Hogarth on canvas.

On her 33rd birthday, she had a wild party that lasted all night and only stopped briefly at 10 in the morning to do some shopping before continuing at the pub. For her 35th birthday, she had a four-day celebration with her friends Davinia Taylor and Abbey Clancy. The noise from the party was so loud, even with double-paned windows, that her neighbors in Camden were disturbed and complained.

Do I have to continue talking? (It's unlikely that Moss has ever said this in the middle of a party.) The mere thought of all those hangovers is making me crave a Bloody Mary.

As she reaches the age of 50, Kate seems to be the most genuine version of herself. She has relocated to the countryside and exchanged her old image for a more gardening-oriented one. Her path is one that is familiar to most people as they grow older. She celebrated her milestone birthday in Mustique, a Caribbean island that is known for being a laid-back retreat for wealthy people and where famous people like Princess Margaret and David Bowie used to party. The fact that Kate chose this destination reveals a lot about the person she has become.

I have personal experience with choosing a more subdued lifestyle over excessive drinking and excessive indulgence. When I turned 21 years old, I celebrated by drinking in Soho, but fortunately, no one experienced any serious harm. On my 30th birthday, I hosted a party in a private Shoreditch cocktail bar. I wore a shimmery dress and unfortunately, I tripped and got carpet burn as I fell down the stairs. Eventually, I collapsed into bed just as the sun was about to rise. However, as I turned 40 this month, I realized that this was not the kind of celebration I wanted anymore. Instead, I met up with some friends at a local suburban taproom, having a few drinks including alcohol-free options. Soon after, I cozied up in my bed, protected by my duvet, and it was only 12:30 am.

Alright, alright, Moss threw a fancy music festival in the Cotswolds to celebrate her 40th birthday. It was a wild 100-hour affair and probably cost around £100,000. Massive Attack, Mark Ronson, and Florence Welch all performed, which was pretty cool. It seems like Moss was really trying to show off her partying skills at that point in time, but hey, we all have our moments. Interestingly enough, neither Moss nor myself have any good pictures from our respective birthdays.

We're not sure how Moss will celebrate her 50th birthday as things have changed for her. She now works as the creative director for Diet Coke and claims to go to bed early, by 11 pm. Moss has expressed regret over her famous quote "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." For her previous birthdays, Moss kept things low-key with a weekend in Paris for her 47th, where she was there for work, and a dinner at Scotts in Mayfair for her 48th. She celebrated with her daughter, Lila Grace, and her boyfriend, Count Nikolai von Bismarck. Her 49th birthday went unnoticed.

However, we need to keep in mind that the subject of discussion is Kate Moss. Her friends call her "the Tank" because of how much alcohol she can consume. In fact, in last month's British Vogue, Kate Moss gave a party tip which said "I avoid boring people and they avoid me." So, would it be possible for our favorite party animal to suddenly become dull?

To be honest, I've witnessed some extremely lively gatherings lately. These events were hosted by my acquaintances and coworkers who had just hit the half-century milestone, and they saw it as a valid reason to indulge in one epic night of revelry. For Mossy, this would be deemed as exhibiting great control in comparison.
