Who is Kate Abdo?

Kate Abdo is a British broadcaster and journalist who is best known for her expert knowledge of football and boxing. She was born on September 8, 1981, in Manchester, England, and grew up in the city of Salford. Kate studied at the University of Salford where she graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in European Languages and later got a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California.

Kate started her broadcasting career as a reporter for Sky Sports News in 2001. She then moved to Germany to work for Deutsche Welle, where she hosted their daily sports news program. Kate eventually returned to the UK and joined Sky Sports News as a presenter, covering live events such as the Olympics, World Cup, and Premier League matches. In 2017, she moved to America to present Champions League football and boxing coverage for Turner Sports.
