Kasatkina

Emma Raducanu lost in straight sets to Daria Kasatkina at Eastbourne and is now focusing on Wimbledon next week.

The past winner of the US Open was clearly surpassed by her competitor, as the Russian easily won with a score of 6-2, 6-2, advancing to the semi-finals of the tournament.

After a strong start, Raducanu lost an early point in the fourth game, giving Kasatkina a big lead before winning the first set.

The British player began the match at a slow pace once more as Kasatkina managed to break her serve early on. Despite Raducanu's strong efforts, she was unable to make a comeback.

Kasatkina sealed the victory with a powerful serve, causing Radacanu to hit the ball out of bounds. This win advances the Russian player to the next round, where she will face off against Jasmine Paolini.

Data Recap: Raducanu comes in second place at Eastbourne

Radacanu was overpowered by the 14th ranked player in the world, but she can gain encouragement from her two strong victories against Jessica Pegula and Sloane Stephens.
