Emma Raducanu was defeated in straight sets by Daria Kasatkina at Eastbourne, prompting her to quickly shift her focus to Wimbledon next week.

The ex-US Open winner was beaten easily by her rival, as the Russian smoothly won 6-2, 6-2 to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.

After a strong start, Raducanu lost a crucial point in the fourth game, giving Kasatkina the opportunity to quickly take control of the match and win the first set.

Kasatkina finished the match with a powerful serve, causing Radacanu to hit the ball out of bounds and securing the victory for the Russian player. She will now face Jasmine Paolini in the upcoming round.
