According to a recent report, Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly on the path to divorce.
On October 7, TMZ shared that the artist known for his work on the Donda album and his wife, who have been married for almost two years, are reportedly separating. Sources familiar with the couple indicated that West and Censori, who got married in 2022, have been saying to those close to them that they ended their relationship a few weeks prior.
On October 8, Page Six captured photos of the couple shopping at a mall in Tokyo, Japan. The images depicted the Yeezy designer and the Australian architect using an escalator together and browsing in a store while holding hands. One particular close-up shot even showed Censori gently holding West's face.
According to a report from TMZ, West has been talking about relocating to Tokyo and ending his relationship with Bianca. The outlet mentioned that they recently saw the rapper dining at a Jamaican restaurant and attending a wrestling event in September without his partner. Although the 29-year-old model was not seen in Tokyo with the 47-year-old father of four—who has legally changed his name to “Ye”—she is currently in Japan with him.
Neither West nor Censori has made any statements regarding the divorce rumors. The Independent has contacted their representatives for a response.
The couple initially crossed paths in 2020 when Censori was employed as an architectural designer for Yeezy. At that time, West was still in a marriage with Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four kids: North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five.
The founder of Skims initiated divorce proceedings from West in 2021 and was subsequently declared “legally single” before the divorce was finalized. Kardashian and West's official divorce was completed in November 2022 after several months of legal discussions.
Not long after, the singer of "Pure Souls" wed Censori in a private ceremony. As reported by Page Six, they got married in December 2022, which was also when West dropped his single "Censori Overload." When their marriage became public knowledge, rumors quickly surfaced suggesting that it wasn't a legal union. However, by October 2023, the Daily Mail confirmed that West and Censori had indeed tied the knot legally after securing a marriage license.
The couple made their relationship known to the public in January 2023. West and Censori were first spotted together at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills, California, where they were seen enjoying lunch and holding hands.
In the months that came after, Censori started to become a part of West's life, accompanying the music artist and his oldest daughter for dinners and outings to Disneyland.
The couple has gained notoriety for their unique and unconventional fashion selections. During last season's Paris Fashion Week, the “Waves” musician shocked the fashion industry by attending Marni's fall/winter 2024 show alongside his wife. West opted for a black nylon windbreaker paired with leather trousers, while Censori showcased a bold, form-fitting latex bodysuit complemented by striking pink boots that reached just below her knees.
