A recent report suggests that Kanye West and Bianca Censori may be on the verge of divorce.
On October 7, TMZ shared that the Donda artist and his spouse of almost two years are reportedly separating. Sources close to the couple indicated that West and Censori, who married in 2022, have been “informing those close to them that they ended their relationship a few weeks back.”
In pictures sourced by Page Six, the couple was seen shopping at a mall in Tokyo, Japan, on October 8. The images captured the Yeezy designer and the Australian architect together on the escalator and browsing items in a store while holding each other. One particular close-up shot showed Censori gently holding West's face in her hands.
According to a report from TMZ, West has been talking about his intentions to relocate to Tokyo and end his relationship with Bianca. The publication mentioned that they saw the rapper dining at a Jamaican restaurant and attending a wrestling event in September without his partner. Although the 29-year-old model wasn't seen in Tokyo alongside the 47-year-old father of four, who now goes by the name "Ye," she is currently in Japan with him.
Neither West nor Censori has commented on the speculation surrounding their divorce. The Independent has contacted their representatives for a statement.
The couple originally crossed paths in 2020 while Censori was employed as an architectural designer for Yeezy. At that point, West was still in a marriage with Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four children: North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five.
The founder of Skims initiated divorce proceedings from West in 2021 and was subsequently recognized as “legally single” before their separation was complete. Kardashian and West officially ended their marriage in November 2022 following several months of legal battles.
Not long after, the “Pure Souls” singer wed Censori in a private ceremony. As reported by Page Six, the couple got married in December 2022, coinciding with the release of West's song, “Censori Overload.” Initially, when news of their marriage surfaced, there were quick claims suggesting they weren't legally wed. However, by October 2023, the Daily Mail confirmed that West and Censori had indeed obtained a marriage license, making their union official.
In January 2023, the couple decided to share their relationship with the world. Their first appearance together in public was at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, California, where they were seen having lunch and holding hands.
In the ensuing months, Censori started to become a part of West's world, going out for dinner and taking trips to Disneyland with him and his oldest daughter.
The couple has gained quite a reputation for their unconventional fashion choices. During the previous season's Paris Fashion Week, the artist known for "Waves" made a splash in the fashion scene when he attended Marni’s fall/winter 2024 show with his wife. West opted for a black nylon windbreaker paired with leather pants, while Censori sported a fitted, open latex bodysuit complemented by pink boots that reached below her knees.
