Supporters were eager to see football come back and to see Taylor Swift return to Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

A second match from last season's AFC Championship game was viewed by an average of 28.9 million people on NBC and its streaming platform, Peacock.

It surpassed the number of people watching last season's first game, where the Detroit Lions surprised the Chiefs, by five percent.
