How did Kai Trump spend the morning before her grandfather again became president? Playoff golf
On Tuesday, Kai Trump, the eldest grandchild of President-elect Donald Trump, spent his morning playing in a golf playoff and later celebrated the presidential election at a party that lasted into the night.
Trump, a junior on the girls' golf team at Benjamin School, recorded a score of 79 (eight over par), which earned her a tie for 22nd place at the Region 4-1A championship held at Miami Shores Country Club on Tuesday morning.
She scored two birdies, seven bogeys, and one triple bogey during her round. Trump has pledged to join the golf team at the University of Miami.
The Bucs secured third place as a team with a score of 305 (plus-21), just one point shy of qualifying for the state tournament. This likely marks the end of Trump and the Bucs' 2024 high school golf season.
Early Wednesday morning, Trump took the stage at the Palm Beach County Convention Center alongside her father, Donald Trump Jr., and several other family members as her grandfather announced his victory in the 2024 presidential election.
Additionally, Donald Trump's granddaughter has decided to move to Miami to pursue her college golf career.
Kai Trump has openly shown her backing for her grandfather by attending the 2024 Republican National Convention in person and sharing messages on her social media platforms. She boasts over 400,000 followers on Instagram and more than 200,000 followers on X, both of which are public accounts.
On the Tuesday morning before the election, Trump shared a collection of pictures featuring her grandfather, along with the message, “You motivate us all. I love you, Grandpa.”
On Wednesday, following the outcome, Trump shared pictures of her grandfather and family at Mar-a-Lago. She included a message that read, "Nobody puts in more effort or has more concern for the American people. Congrats, Grandpa! I love you!"
