Baukje has sent an email regarding the question about Eidevall and Slegers.
I doubt that Arsenal would have recovered with Eidevall at the helm.
It seemed to me that the connection and trust he once had with the players had disappeared.
Don't believe that Slegers is the main reason behind this big change. It could have occurred with any other interim leader as well.
I believe Sleger is a good fit for the role. She already has a solid rapport with the players, which makes her the ideal choice as an interim coach for the time being.
It seems that the players have relieved some of the tension following Eidevall's departure. This pressure often arises when there's a disconnect between the team and the coach, but no steps have been taken to address the situation. It's not about him as an individual, but rather his role as the coach.
If Slegers can maintain a strong defense and ensure they score 4-5 goals each game, great things are on the horizon.
There is certainly a noticeable transformation in this Arsenal squad. Slegers has mentioned that she will lead the team at least until the next international break, so we’ll have to see what unfolds after that.
I have to admit, I really enjoy the play on words in this Arsenal post, and it's also a bit annoying that I didn’t come up with it first.
Arsenal is currently in second place, while Bayern Munich leads their group. The German team previously defeated Arsenal in an earlier match and still has one more group game to play, which will start at 8 PM GMT. Juventus is holding onto third place.
Barcelona's match against St. Polten concluded with a dominant score of 7-0, featuring goals from Claudia Pina and Caroline Graham Hansen in the second half. Despite this impressive victory, the reigning champions remain in second place in their group, trailing Manchester City, who previously defeated them in the tournament.
Here are the three goals that Arsenal netted in the second half:
Do you think Arsenal would have recovered if Jonas Eidevall had stayed on as coach? Or has Renee Slegers made a significant difference? I'd love to hear your opinions—feel free to reach out!

In the 61st minute, Arsenal substitutes McCabe for Blackstenius, while Juventus brings on Bonansea in place of a player.
At the 60-minute mark, Bergamaschi is called offside, and she can be overheard expressing her disbelief by saying, "no, no, no." The frustration among the Juventus players is evident. Arsenal quickly responds on a counterattack and nearly scores again when Fox's shot hits the crossbar—what a close call!
58 minutes in: Foord makes an impressive run and sets up a chance for Walti, but Beccari prevents it from reaching the goal, forcing a corner instead. The corner kick is well executed, and Williamson manages to get a solid touch, but Peyraud-Magnin comes through with an excellent save.
