On January 27, 2024, Justin Timberlake made an appearance on Saturday Night Live where he performed the song "Sanctified". This was captured by Will Heath of NBC/Getty Images.

Last Friday night (Feb. 23), Justin Timberlake had a solo concert planned at the Roundhouse in Camden, London. Unfortunately, he had to cancel this performance as he suddenly fell ill. He made the announcement through a video, expressing his apologies to his fans for the unexpected notice.

"Hello everyone," he spoke with a raspy voice through the Instagram Story post. "I'm sending out this video with a heavy heart, as it's sad news to share. As you can hear, I won't be able to attend the show on Friday, and it pains me deeply." He mentioned that he had been in London all week and was eagerly looking forward to his performance at the iconic theatre.

I've been fighting an illness, as you may or may not know," he said. "I believed it was improving, but sadly, things have taken a turn for the worse." He guaranteed his fans in London that he would compensate them once he was able to force himself to appear on Graham Norton's talk show, which almost didn't happen. On Friday morning, he woke up feeling "even worse," vowing that he will make it up to them and "dominate the Roundhouse" with his supporters the next time he comes through.

"At the moment, I'm feeling awful... I sincerely wish that none of you catch this flu," he stated.

At the start of the week, Timberlake shared a sneak peek of his latest track, "Drown," which has just been released. He played a small part of it on the piano all by himself and mentioned that he was feeling ill. He said, "I managed to make it to London, but I'm still trying to recuperate from this terrible flu. Still, I'm pushing myself to keep going. I'm so thrilled about releasing new music and having all these exciting things happen this week."

On the very day when JT launched his thoughtful and contemplative fresh track, titled "Drown," which happens to be the second track from his much-awaited Everything I Thought It Was album that will drop on March 15th, there emerged some fascinating news. His first single, "Selfish," made its debut at the 19th spot on the famous Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Timberlake has an upcoming tour in North America that will start on April 29th in Vancouver. The tour will continue until July 9th in Lexington, KY. After that, he will be going to Europe for his recently announced 13-show tour. He has also added 15 more shows in North America, which will continue until November 20th at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, KY.
