Blake Lively is getting back to work, landing her first movie role in three years with an adaptation of It Ends With Us.
The 35-year-old mother of three hasn't been seen on the big screen since 2020's The Rhythm Section, though now she's attached to this project, via Deadline.
The actress - who is expecting her fourth child and experimenting with bizarre fashion choices - will star alongside Baldoni, who is also set to direct the adaptation of Colleen Hoover's 2016 novel, which earned a huge new fan base through the #BookTok TikTok community.

She meets and falls for a man named Ryle, though as their relationship starts heating up, her first love Atlas comes back into her life.
The novel was published by Atria Books in August 2016, with Hoover revealing the couple are based on her mother and father, calling it, 'the hardest book I've ever written.'

Hoover is the best-selling author in the United States with over 20 million books sold, with her sequel to It Ends With Us, dubbed It Starts With Us, published in October 2022.
Baldoni optioned It Ends With Us through his Wayfarer Entertainment company in 2019, with author Hoover consulting on the film.
Christy Hall (creator of Netflix's I Am Not Okay With This) is writing the screenplay adaptation and also producing.

Alex Saks will produce for Saks Picture Company, along with Jamey Heath for Wayfarer Studios and screenwriter Hall.
Both Lively and Hoover are serving as executive producers along with Steve Sarowitz, Andrew Calof and Baldoni on behalf of Wayfarer, which is also co-financing.
There is no word yet on when production may begin, or if a release schedule is planned at the time.
