The Rise of Josh Warrington

Josh Warrington, born on November 14, 1990, is a professional British boxer hailing from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Warrington began his amateur career in 2007 and quickly made a name for himself in the boxing world.

In 2010, Warrington turned pro with the help of his father/trainer and began his professional career with a bang. He won his first 16 fights before suffering his first defeat against the experienced fighter, Dennis Ceylan, in 2017. However, Warrington used this loss as motivation to improve his skills and came back stronger than ever.

World Champion Status

Warrington became a two-weight British champion in 2014 and 2015 by winning the English featherweight and British featherweight titles, respectively. He went on to become the European featherweight champion in 2017.

However, Warrington's crowning achievement came in 2018 when he defeated Lee Selby to become the IBF featherweight world champion. This victory took his career to new heights and cemented his status as one of the best boxers in the world. With an impressive record of 30 wins, 7 knockouts, and only one defeat, Josh Warrington is a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world.
