Jordan North to leave BBC Radio 1 as Jamie Laing joins Vick Hope on Drive

Jordan North, one of the co-hosts of BBC Radio 1 Drive, will no longer feature on the show. Instead, Jamie Laing will be taking over his duties.

Starting on March 4th, Jamie will be joining forces with Vick Hope on the show called Going Home. They will be hosting the program Monday through Thursday and it will run from 3:30 pm until 6 pm.

Jordan has been a part of the Radio 1 team for a decade after working in the world of commercial radio before that time.

According to the BBC, Jordan has contributed to numerous amusing and enjoyable moments during broadcasts for a long time. Younger presenters have also been greatly influenced by Jordan's work. The BBC expressed their gratitude for everything Jordan has done.

On Monday 4th March, Jamie Laing will be partnering with Vick Hope to host Going Home on Radio 1 from Monday to Thursday, between 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm.

There isn't any information out yet regarding Jordan's next career move. However, RadioToday will provide updates on his next major gig as soon as possible.

Jordan has been an exceptional person who has worked hard and is well-respected by his Radio 1 colleagues. I am delighted to have been a part of his success story, and I admire how he has always connected with the Radio 1 audience through his shows and initiatives. This is evident by the tremendous amount of money he raised for Comic Relief during his rowing expedition from London to Burnley, which shows his ability to have an impact.
