Earlier today, we shared news that Joost Klein, the Dutch representative for Eurovision, was prevented from participating in the first dress rehearsal of the Eurovision 2024 Grand Final. Additionally, he was also not allowed to perform during the Jury Final, which is currently taking place. The reason for this is because he got into a physical altercation with a Swedish photographer earlier in the day. The Swedish police are now leading an investigation to determine if any criminal activity took place.

The police from Sweden paid a visit to the Malmö Arena and are currently interrogating the individuals who are believed to have been involved in the incident. Their main objective is to establish whether or not a crime has been committed. Unfortunately, it is unclear at this time which parties are being investigated and who the people in question are.

The Swedish journalist noticed Joost Klein in his hotel, but he chose not to respond to any questions. Similarly, the AVROTROS broadcaster kept silent initially, but later, a representative made an announcement at approximately 8:30 pm.

The inquiry is still ongoing, so Joost isn't allowed to practice tonight due to the EBU's regulations. AvroTros is actively conversing with the EBU. The expert judges will evaluate the 2nd Semi Final show.

There is much talk on social media regarding the possible events. The news outlets SVT and Aftonbladet reported an altercation involving Joost and a Swedish photographer, but the recent Eurovision videos in Joost Klein's Stories have all been erased.

The authorities are expected to reveal their investigation findings soon, and with the input of the EBU, they will determine if the Netherlands will participate in the Grand Final.

I was curious about the show, and that's how my love for it started. Ever since then, I make sure not to miss any of the broadcasts. In 2008, I had the opportunity to attend Eurovision in Belgrade. I've been to most of them ever since. Out of all the winners, "Everyway That I Can" is my favorite. Another Eurovision song that I love is "Igranka".
