Throughout history, The Netherlands has consistently ranked within the top 10 most thriving nations in the Eurovision competition.

Ever since their 1956 debut in the Eurovision Song Contest, they've taken part a total of 63 times. Out of those attempts, they've been successful in winning the top spot on five occasions.

The Netherlands had their most impressive performance in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019, when Duncan Laurence won first place with his song "Arcade." Nonetheless, they haven't always had such good luck, coming in last place 5 times in the past, specifically in 1958, 1962, 1963, 1968, and 2011. Since Semi-finals were given a part in the competition in 2004, they have managed to make it into the Grand Final 9 times out of 19.
