Joe Rogan was visibly amused as he pushed former President Donald Trump to provide details on how the 2020 election was allegedly rigged.

The Republican candidate had a lengthy conversation with the top podcaster on Friday. Their discussion lasted for three hours, which pushed back Trump's scheduled appearance in Traverse City, Michigan, later that day.

At one point, Trump and Rogan began talking about the 2020 election.

"I came out on top by a significant margin," Trump stated, "I fell short by a small amount...but I didn’t actually lose."

Rogan was then spotted chuckling.

"They claim I lost, Joe, and that the margin was 22,000 votes," Trump went on. "That's just a tiny fraction—less than one-tenth of one percent. It's a minuscule amount. That 22,000 votes are scattered across this entire timeframe."

"Fifty-one knowledgeable individuals fabricated stories, knowing it belonged to Hunter and was taken from his own bedroom. They falsely attributed it to Russia. It was all about Russia, Russia, Russia. It turned out to be the Russia deception."

During the conversation, Rogan pressed Trump for instances that supported his assertion that the 2020 election was "rigged."

"Let's begin with the straightforward points. They were meant to obtain permission from lawmakers for their actions, but in many instances, they failed to do so," said Trump.

Rogan inquired about what those "things" were, and the Republican candidate could only respond with the word "anything."

“The nominee, who is 78, stated that changes related to extending voting times or allowing early voting all required legal approval from lawmakers. There's no need to look beyond that.”

"When examining the situation in Wisconsin, it's clear that there are significant claims about the election being unfairly manipulated. Access to certain ballots was denied due to issues with signatures and the authenticity of the originals. There’s a lot more to discuss regarding the ballots and the broader implications. Let me provide you with another perspective."

The podcaster asked Trump whether he would ever share the proof. Trump hesitated with an "uh" and then launched into a lengthy tirade about Russia and Hunter Biden's laptop.

Even though there's no proof of widespread election fraud, Trump still insists that the election was rigged. This notion has become a key focus of his campaign against his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.

Earlier this month, at a rally in Michigan, Trump discussed his allegations of a rigged election. His remarks came shortly after prosecutor Jack Smith submitted documents in the federal case against Trump, which charges him with interfering in the election.

"During the last election, we had a fantastic performance in 2016, but many aren’t aware that we actually did even better in 2020," Trump told the audience on October 4. "We came out on top, we truly won. It was a fraudulent election, it was a fraudulent election."

"I want to show Kamala Harris that I'm giving it another shot. If I truly believed I had lost, I wouldn't be back at it. Instead, you’d probably find me lounging on the beaches of Monte Carlo or somewhere equally nice, enjoying life."
