Life At Jo's House With 4 Kids

When Jo is not presenting her BBC Radio 2 program, she can be found at her renovated barn in Northamptonshire with Steve. They have four children together: India, Jude, Cassius, and Coco.

India, a professional food stylist, was born in 1991, and the couple welcomed their youngest child, Coco, in 2008.

"Raising four children of different ages is amazing," Jo shared with The Times in 2022. "India and I were watching TV when I began to experience contractions with Coco. She helped me through the delivery by timing the contractions and holding my hand until Steve, who was working in Brighton, could get there."

Jo's kids, just like their mother, love to stay busy and active. India and Cassius even participated in a half marathon with their parents back in 2018. The entire family also enjoys wakeboarding together. Jo mentioned to The Times in 2013 that they take advantage of every chance they get to be out on the boat.

As Coco enters her teenage years, Jo is getting ready for an empty nest. "Many folks say they feel lost when their children move out, and I can really understand that," Jo shared with Good Housekeeping Magazine in the past year.

It can be overwhelming when you find yourself with extra time on your hands. Feeling anxious about your identity and what to do next is common," she added. "However, this is an opportunity to start fresh, gain freedom, and have fun, which can be very empowering."
