How Jeremy Allen White prepped for his Calvin Klein underwear campaign
When Jeremy Allen White was a child in Brooklyn, he didn't often visit Lower Manhattan to see his friend. But when he did, he was impressed by the huge size of the buildings, streets, and billboards there. One especially eye-catching billboard was for Calvin Klein, which White still thinks of as a symbol of New York City today. Recently, he starred in a new Calvin Klein Spring 2024 campaign, photographed by Mert Alas, wearing the brand's famous underwear. As the campaign's model, White looked larger-than-life.
White has accomplished yet another achievement in his Hollywood career with the latest campaign he has participated in. The actor had previously starred in 11 seasons of the popular dark comedy, Shameless, before landing the role of Carmen Berzatto in The Bear. This role catapulted him into a highly sought after actor in the industry. With his recent billboard feature for Calvin Klein, White's star power continues to rise as he showcases his chiseled abs in a single, stripped-down moment. White praised the campaigns by Calvin Klein and was honored to be a part of it. He expressed admiration for the brand's ability to consistently feature unique and captivating individuals.
White is a captivating individual who never thought that he would ever appear in a Calvin Klein ad campaign. He admitted, feeling a little bashful, that this was not something he had envisioned for himself before. "It’s not like I always thought, oh yes, one day I’ll be featured in a Calvin Klein campaign," he said.
White got a chance that he was not expecting, and it came at the perfect moment. He had worked hard to be in great shape after acting in The Iron Claw during the winter before. However, he had lost some weight since he had gained a lot to play the wrestler Kerry Von Erich. The film he acted in gave him psychological benefits instead of physical ones. Due to his exposure in The Iron Claw, he was used to being in front of big crowds wearing only his underwear. This experience helped him prepare mentally and emotionally for his new opportunity.
