Man Arrested For Murder After Christmas Day Deaths

A man has been accused of murder following the suspected stabbing of two women who lost their lives in an apartment building on Christmas Day.

Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, were pronounced dead at the scene on Santa Cruz Avenue in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Authorities discovered their bodies around 6:36 PM GMT.

A man in his late twenties and a teenager were transported to the hospital with significant injuries.

Jazwell Brown, 49, from Santa Cruz Avenue, faces multiple charges including two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and illegal possession of a knife or sharp object in a public area. Additionally, he is accused of inflicting unnecessary pain on a protected animal. He is scheduled to appear in High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Forensic investigators were seen at the apartments in Bletchley on Thursday.

Thames Valley Police announced that Mr. Brown has been taken into custody until the hearing takes place.

The police confirmed that both women hailed from Milton Keynes.

A representative stated, "We are here to assist the families during this challenging period."

Previously, the authorities reported that both the injured man and boy were in stable condition.

It has also been confirmed that a dog, thought to be dead, actually survived its injuries.

On Wednesday, authorities received a call regarding an incident on Santa Cruz Avenue in Bletchley, prompting a response from Thames Valley Police.

People living in the apartments have left flowers and memorials near the spot where the women were discovered.

Sophie Pritchard shared with the BBC, "What's occurred is just heartbreaking and terrible... There shouldn't be events like this occurring anywhere."

Ed Hume, a city councillor from Milton Keynes, remarked, "The people in Newton Leys form a very united community."

"It's a tight community that cares for one another, and I'm aware that they are feeling shocked and heartbroken."
