India is celebrating after winning the ICC T20 World Cup for the second time. They defeated South Africa in the final match in Barbados. Jasprit Bumrah, a talented fast bowler from Gujarat, played a key role in the victory. The team led by Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten in the tournament. Bumrah was outstanding throughout and deservedly received the Player of the Tournament award.

At the same time, a post revealing the modest start of the fast bowler is gaining popularity on X (formerly Twitter). It was veteran journalist Deepal Trivedi who wrote the heartfelt message about the celebrity on her official account.

Deepal started off by talking about the time she was given a small and fragile baby named Jasprit by nurses at a hospital in Ahmedabad's Paldi neighborhood. She explained how she had been close to the Bumrah family for many years and had watched Jasprit and his sister Juhika grow up. There were emotional mentions of times when she had to take care of the Indian cricket star when he was just a baby and struggling with hunger.

Check out Deepal Trivedi's article here:

I don't know anything about cricket. I only recognize Virat Kohli as the spouse of Anushka. He seems really nice, especially when he attempts to dance.

However, this (lengthy) article is focused on my inspiration. In December 1993, when I was earning less than Rs 800 per month, my closest friend and neighbor convinced me to take a day off. She was pregnant. I was around 22-23 years old at the time, and I spent most of that day at a hospital in Paldi, Ahmedabad. Daljit, my friend, was married to Jasbir, who had stepped out briefly when the nurse called us and placed a newborn baby in my trembling hands. It was the first time I had ever held a newborn baby. All I can recall is that the baby was lean and appeared to be trying to smile, although he wasn't very successful. The nurse informed us that he was a boy. He seemed fragile and delicate, so the doctor immediately took over. My friend was ecstatic. I was already the godmother to her daughter, Juhika.

This blog post is about a Bollywood movie and the passing of Gujarat Chief Minister Chimanlal Patel. Within the following two months, I transitioned into a role as a political journalist and received a salary increase.

My neighbor and I shared everything like real close friends. I didn't have my own phone, refrigerator or bed. Our houses were connected by a wall and her home was my safe place.

I was saddened to hear that my friend's husband passed away suddenly. For the entire month, I took care of the children. I read stories to them, but the boy was not interested and instead preferred to play with his inexpensive plastic ball.

Sometimes, I would also sneak a few of their cookies because I was really hungry while looking after the children.

We went without food, we faced difficulties, we shed tears, we battled the challenges of life. Juhika, the daughter I acted as a godmother to, was the most stunning child I had ever laid eyes on. Her smile and warm embrace gave me optimism.

However, the boy faced the most difficult challenges. We could barely scrape together enough money to buy him a package of Amul Dairy or any milk. As he grew up, all of us were preoccupied with trying to make ends meet. His mother worked a minimum of 18 hours a day.

I have a memory of receiving a raise at work and deciding to treat myself to a new kurta at Westside, a high-end shop I loved. As I was browsing, I saw a young boy, around 8 years old, with his mother. He was looking at a windcheater and I decided to buy it as a gift for him. This meant that I went without a new kurta for Diwali, Christmas, and my birthday, but seeing him happy in his windcheater made me feel like I was wearing a designer outfit by Rajdeep Ranawat!

His sister was outgoing and talkative, but he was quiet and reserved as a child. He has now become a celebrated figure. In addition to his previous accomplishments, he played a key part in securing our victory in the Cricket World Cup last night. All Indians should feel proud of him and take inspiration from his success. Despite his legendary status, he has remained as humble as he was at the age of 8.

The person is known as Jasprit Bumrah.

I attempted to watch a cricket match at his mother's request, but I can't grasp the game.

I might check out Angad's football game!

I wrote this lengthy post to highlight the importance of not losing hope, as God never gives up on us. I feel fortunate to have held baby Jasprit for the first time, a moment that continues to inspire me to face challenges in life. Jasprit's mother Daljit deserves credit for raising such resilient children. Recently, Jasprit's lovely wife Sanjana graciously served us lunch with grace and humility. It's worth noting that Jasprit now has his own son, Angad, who is even more handsome than Jasprit was!

I rarely share personal thoughts online, but today I felt compelled to. It's important to me that no one loses hope, falls into depression, or turns to alcohol or drugs.

Consider Jasprit Bumrah and the challenges he has faced. He received assistance from a higher power. Similarly, we can all receive help from God, but we must also be willing to put in the effort to help ourselves.
