Jannik Sinner expressed his pleasure for his brilliant start of the 2024 season, saying that he enjoyed every moment of it, especially after winning his third title of the year at the Miami Open on Sunday.

In the semifinals and finals, the Italian player played extremely well and defeated Daniil Medvedev and Grigor Dimitrov, respectively. This victory improves his record to 22 wins and 1 loss for the year and also boosts his world ranking to a personal best of number two.

Sinner expressed his feelings after defeating Dimitrov 6-3 6-1 in the championship match to claim his second Masters 1000 title by saying, "It is a remarkable moment."

It's always uncertain whether this might be the final moment or not. Hence, you must relish it while it lasts, just for a single day. A brand-new phase is upon us, the clay-court season, which is entirely distinct.

"Let's observe my upcoming gameplay, yet undeniably the hard-court season I've had so far has been exceptionally favorable."

With a better serve and excellent execution of his shots, Sinner has been experiencing great success this season. He managed to secure a victory in the Australian Open this past January, which is just the beginning of what many predict will be a series of grand slam titles.

Jannik Sinner sustained his outstanding performance in Miami.

He only suffered one defeat this year against Carlos Alcaraz during the semifinals at Indian Wells. However, now that he has won in South Florida, the Spanish player will be hopeful of surpassing his opponent's ranking when Monday comes around.

"It's an incredible sensation to be in second place," expressed Sinner.

"I never imagined reaching this stage. My family is very average. Both my dad and mom work. I see sports and life as two separate things."

According to the coach, Darren Cahill, the young player of 22 years is enjoying his life but at the same time, he is being humble.

Cahill stated that the person values each moment and remains grounded by recognizing that tennis is only a sport and a match.

Even though he is dedicated to his work, he also knows how to live life to the fullest. He's just like any other regular 22-year-old person. We can definitely gain a lot of valuable insights from him as well as Carlos. I believe that both of them share many similarities.

In my opinion, tennis is currently in good shape since we have talented players like the two mentioned and several others who will continue carrying the sport for years to come. We have been incredibly fortunate to witness the past 20 years of tennis greatness, and this new generation will continue to keep the torch burning brightly.

It is significant to have athletes of this kind making progress.
