I’m a Celeb: Jane Moore first eliminated as Dean McCullough narrowly avoids the boot
Jane Moore is the first contestant to be sent home from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
She ended up in the final two alongside NI broadcaster Dean McCullough, but discovered that the voters had eliminated her first.
Upon hearing the news, the Loose Women star expressed, "Effort doesn't lead to recognition."
While appearing on the ITV show, the Loose Women star expressed her frustration regarding how tasks were divided between McFly musician Danny Jones and former Irish boxing champion Barry McGuigan.
She charged Jones and McGuigan with "sexism" and "ageism" after they assigned her the task of doing the dishes.
Moore, 62, expressed her appreciation for the encouragement from her Australian camp companions, but confessed that she's looking forward to not having to deal with "doing the dishes" anymore.
Soon after hearing the announcement from hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Jones expressed, "Putting in effort doesn't pay off."
During Friday night's episode, Coleen Rooney expressed that her experience with miscarriages had a significant effect on her husband, Wayne Rooney, describing it as quite "difficult" for him.
The childhood friends who tied the knot in Italy back in 2008 have four sons: Kai Wayne, Klay Anthony, Kit Joseph, and Cass Mac.
They started their relationship when they were teenagers, before Wayne turned into an England forward and eventually managed Plymouth Argyle.
Rooney shared the story behind the name of their fourth child, Cass Mac. He mentioned, "I researched the name Cassius, and found that when spelled with a K, it refers to a blackbird, while with a C, it signifies cleverness."
She mentioned that when choosing a name for her youngest son, who was born in 2018, she decided to incorporate the name Mac to reflect her maiden name, McLoughlin. This way, he would share the same initials, CMR, as she does.
Rooney mentioned that to her, the phrase means "smart son of Rooney," and she added, "that's my only link to the children."
When discussing having four sons, she mentioned, "I would have liked a daughter for Wayne. I wasn't really anxious about it; he would have appreciated having a sister, but it didn't matter much to me either way."
Rooney shared, “I’ve experienced two miscarriages, and I'm not sure if they were girls. There's this belief that sometimes a person can't carry a certain gender, but they only look into it after you've had a third miscarriage.” She revealed that her first miscarriage occurred before she had her first child, while the second took place before the arrival of her two youngest sons, Kit and Cass.
Rooney shared, “I was really nervous when I had my first child... but after having my baby, that fear disappeared, and I went on to have another.”
"It's a really tough experience for anyone; it's quite distressing. However, the thought that I have the ability to get pregnant and have a child brings me some comfort."
She mentioned, “I truly empathize with the guys in this circumstance... Wayne really experienced it deeply during the first time. It didn't hit me until later that while everyone was caring for me, he was the one who had to simply rise and go to work like nothing had changed. That must have been tough for him.”
Oti Mabuse, a former professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, shared her thoughts, expressing that it’s a wonderful yet frightening period.
Throughout the series, she has shared her personal experiences from when her daughter arrived 10 weeks early.
Mabuse has mentioned that she faced challenges when trying to get pregnant with her first child, who arrived last year.
During last night's episode, Barry McGuigan expressed his relief at not having to participate in the Bushtucker trial.
Mabuse and McGuigan stepped forward to take part in the ‘Tanks of Torture’ challenge. Meanwhile, Melvin Odoom, who had not participated in a trial yet, suggested swapping places with McGuigan.
With a positive attitude, Mabuse and Odoom set off to discover what awaited them, while the other campers encouraged them. McGuigan humorously added, "Awesome! I'm off to bed."
The stars soon discovered that the audience had been casting votes to keep their favorite contestant in the camp, and it was now time for one of them to exit the jungle.
