Jamie Lynn Spears expressed her desire to reveal her true self to the audience during her appearance in the upcoming season of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
The 21st series of the ITV reality show will premiere this Sunday (19 November) and will feature the participation of the American actor who is also the sibling of pop star Britney Spears.
The ex-Zoey 101 actress, who is now 32 years old, faced criticism in recent times due to her elder sister's struggle of 13 years to end her conservatorship. However, the conservatorship was finally terminated in November 2021.
Britney, who is 41 years old, made a statement on Instagram that has since been deleted. She criticized those individuals who are supposed to be close to her but have never been there for her. Additionally, she described her youngest sister as being quite rude in a following post.
After Jamie Lynn published her memoir titled "Things I Should Have Said" in January 2022, Britney criticized her sister for profiting from her fame.
Jamie Lynn shared with ITV that there are many false ideas held about her, but she doesn't pay them any attention. She believes that participating in I'm A Celebrity will allow people to finally see her true self.
Although Britney wasn't mentioned by name, the speaker indicated that she received permission from her family to participate in the show. She shared that she spoke with her family and children to ensure that they were comfortable with her absence for a certain duration.
She declared that she would maintain a tough attitude while in the jungle, asserting that she possesses the invaluable trait of being impervious to emotional attacks. Unless it is coming from her offspring or her closest kin, no criticism or negativity can harm her. Her resilience towards harsh words and criticism is a strength that will serve her well in an environment where she will undoubtedly encounter many obstacles.
The blog reported that in June, the sisters who had previously been distant from each other, seemed to be on better terms. Britney posted on Instagram that she had visited Jamie Lynn while she was working.
