A source informed that Catchpole had died on Friday at her home in Gloucestershire. Morrison was reportedly extremely upset about her passing.

It is believed that there are no reasons to suspect foul play in her passing, and Morrison's relatives are helping him through his sorrow, as reported by The Sun.

It has recently been revealed that Catchpole, who had two kids with the vocalist, made a post in a nearby Facebook group seeking aid in locating a house for rent.

Last Thursday (January 4th), she posted a message on her Facebook page asking for help in finding a house to rent in Whitminster as soon as possible. She kindly requested anyone with information to contact her and signed off with the acronym TIA, which stands for 'thank you in advance.'

Before she passed away, Catchpole's social media profile allegedly indicated that she was single.

Reportedly, Catchpole's café known as Cotswold Sandwich Box was shut down on Saturday with police vehicles observed outside the vicinity.

According to an insider, the entire village is in utter disbelief over the recent events. Gill was well-loved by everyone and her family was a sight to behold.

The vocalist of the song "Broken Strings" is 39 years old and has two daughters with Catchpole. Their names are Elsie and Ada Rose and they are 15 and 5 years old respectively.

According to an anonymous source, the man is staying strong for his daughters but has expressed his desire for the family to have space to mourn in private.

Morrison and Catchpole crossed paths when she moved into his mom's house as a tenant. At that time, he was residing at home and endeavoring to establish a career in the music sector.

During an interview in 2021, he mentioned that they had an immediate connection. However, as she was in a relationship at the time, it took them two years to finally start their romantic relationship.

He confessed that he refrained from revealing to her that he had fallen in love with her at first sight because he was unsure, as he had never experienced love before.

During an episode of the White Wine Question Time podcast, he admitted that he wasn't entirely certain if it was true.

It was a very important moment for me to confess my feelings to her.

Morrison has gone through a great deal of emotional pain over the years, specifically when it comes to the loss of loved ones. Within a time period of three years, he had to endure the passing away of his father Paul, brother Alexis and nephew Callum.

The musician who was awarded the Brit Award, launched his latest album named "You're Stronger Than You Know" in 2019. He had mentioned before that the creation of this album was inspired by the birth of his daughter Ada, who was born 13 weeks earlier than expected.

The day prior to Catchpole's passing, Morrison posted a new picture on Instagram. The snapshot showed him sitting in a recording studio, strumming on a guitar.
