Jaguar has puzzled viewers with a new shiny advertisement that doesn’t feature any vehicles.

The British luxury car manufacturer has launched an advertisement showcasing a lineup of models dressed in vibrant outfits as they step out of an elevator into a stark, dramatic setting.

They are shown in a range of positions while different phrases flash on the screen, such as "live brightly," "erase the mundane," and "duplicate nothing."

However, it has sparked a variety of responses on the internet, ranging from mockery to bewilderment, as there are no indications of any vehicles present.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, replied to a Jaguar advertisement on X with a simple question: "Do you sell cars?"

This led to the response: "Absolutely. We’d be excited to show you," along with an invitation to a promotional event. However, many others on X kept asking questions about the advertisement and its meaning.

"Umm, where are the vehicles in this advertisement?" one person commented, while another added, "I was under the impression that you all produced cars?"

Another individual expressed their uncertainty by asking, "What exactly are you trying to sell?"

Jaguar hinted that, "More details will come soon... Consider this advertisement as a statement of our goals. We're changing our approach, but not our mission. Keep watching for updates."

In a press statement accompanying the advertisement, the automaker characterized it as a part of a "fully revamped Jaguar brand" and signaled "a new chapter" that makes it appealing to today's audience.

"This marks a fresh start," stated managing director Rawdon Glover. "Reviving a brand with such international acclaim required us to embrace boldness."

Before the campaign began, Jaguar revealed that it would be phasing out five models that were barely making any profits.

The company has created three new high-end electric cars, with one scheduled to be revealed at the upcoming Art Basel event in Miami next month.
