According to Jose Mourinho, Erik ten Hag is partially responsible for Jadon Sancho's lack of success while playing for Manchester United.

Sancho had a hard time at Old Trafford after transferring for a hefty fee of £73m from Dortmund. However, his loan return to his previous club has allowed him to regain some of his top-form. Ten Hag firmly believes that Sancho's worth is still quite valuable.

As Sancho is expected to play in the finals of the Uefa Champions League against Real Madrid at Wembley, Mourinho talked about the mishaps that occurred while he was at Old Trafford.

Undoubtedly, the child committed errors, however, without a doubt, his supervisor failed to bring out his full potential,” Mourinho expressed to TNT Sports while situated at Wembley Stadium.

When it comes to this particular player, there's no question about his skill and abilities. We're well aware of what he's capable of and don't have any reservations when it comes to that.

When I reflect on my past experiences, I have had instances where I was unable to effectively work with certain players. I struggled to comprehend their inherent characteristics, and ultimately was unsuccessful in guiding them towards progress.

At times, individuals possess the aptitude but lack the mentality that is desired.

Next, Mourinho was asked if Manchester United didn't meet Sancho's expectations.

According to Mourinho, there are various factors that contribute to a situation. It could be the manager, player, family, agent, club or a combination of these.

"They will examine it and attempt to dissect the occurrences at Manchester United and the discoveries he made at Dortmund."

Dortmund borrowed Sancho from United and this arrangement might result in United receiving a payment of €7.5m. Even though Sancho is one of the most costly players in United's history, he has only played for them for 77 minutes this season. As a result, United may have to acknowledge that they've lost a significant portion of their investment.

According to Ten Hag, Sancho did an excellent job in the semi-finals against Paris Saint-Germain and he's undoubtedly a talented player.

Yesterday, he demonstrated his worth to Manchester United and proved why the club invested in him. This is a positive development and I am pleased for Jadon's impressive performance. Moving forward, we can only wait and see what lies ahead for him.
