It is believed that Chelsea has put forward a proposal to sign Manchester United striker Jadon Sancho.

According to sources at Sky Sports News, the proposal is in the form of a loan that may turn into a requirement to purchase the item if specific conditions are fulfilled.

The cost of the loan is believed to be higher than what Juventus proposed for Sancho, and negotiations are ongoing between Chelsea and United before the 11pm deadline.

Juventus were interested in loaning Sancho, but they believe the 24-year-old may prefer a transfer to Stamford Bridge. They will not actively pursue a deal unless the circumstances change significantly.

United would rather sell Sancho, but they haven't completely dismissed the possibility of letting him go on another loan. Sancho, who was loaned to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of last season, is an England international.

Sancho still has two years left on his contract with Manchester United, and the club has the option to keep him for another year after that.

When asked on Friday afternoon whether he thought Sancho would stay, Erik ten Hag replied, "From what I know, yes. He's currently part of our team and we're pleased with his performance."

Chelsea is looking to sell some players before the deadline on Friday at 11pm, like Raheem Sterling. United could be interested in buying the 29-year-old, but they are not actively trying to make a deal happen.

The Blues are expected to pursue Sancho in a separate deal, but United have shown interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.

Sancho has managed to score 12 goals and provide six assists in the 83 matches he has played for United. He joined the team from Dortmund for a fee of £73m three years ago.

Sancho, who has played for England 23 times, lost favor at United last season following a public argument with Ten Hag.

The striker rejoined Ten Hag's team this summer, but has only made a short appearance as a substitute in the Community Shield so far this season.

Chelsea Owners To Support Signing Of 'opportunistic' Sancho

The main reporter for Sky Sports News is Kaveh Solhekol.

A few Chelsea fans may be wondering if getting Jadon Sancho is necessary, considering the team has already brought in wingers like Pedro Neto and Joao Felix this season. Additionally, they have Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, and even Raheem Sterling on the roster. On top of that, it seems like Sancho isn't part of Erik ten Hag's strategy at Manchester United.

I believe Chelsea is interested in signing him because it's a smart move. Sancho can be acquired for an affordable price and he has shown he can be a top player - he recently played in the Champions League final for Borussia Dortmund and was once valued at £85million three years ago.

"If Enzo Maresca believes he can bring out his full potential, I believe the Chelsea owners will support him."

Can Sancho Succeed At Chelsea?

Sky Sports' Nick Wright: Sky Sports commentator Nick Wright:

Jadon Sancho, who is just 24 years old, still has some work to do in order to get his career back on track and show that he can reach his full potential.

Many considered him one of the top young talents in Europe when he traded Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund as a teen. In his debut season in Germany, he scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists in league matches. He then improved upon that performance with 17 goals and 16 assists in his second season.

However, it has been four years since those amazing achievements. His performance decreased in the following season at Dortmund and his transfer to Manchester United, which was finalized in the summer of 2020, has been disappointing. Even his loan spell back at Dortmund last season was not as impressive as expected.

Over the past six seasons, his playing time has steadily decreased while his goal and assist numbers have shown a similar decline. Despite a brief period of interest from Chelsea, his time at United was not successful and he has not been utilized this season, despite appearing to have reconciled with Erik ten Hag.

It's doubtful that staying at Manchester United will lead to a turnaround in luck for Sancho. However, moving to Chelsea would also come with its own set of difficulties. Sancho is in need of playing time, but Maresca already has a strong group of wide players, with Sterling currently left out of the squad.

Cole Palmer, who used to play alongside Sancho in Manchester City's youth team, is definitely a key player in Chelsea's attacking line-up. The team has also signed Joao Felix and Pedro Neto to join players like Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, and Mykhailo Mudryk.

It's difficult to see how Sancho fits in. Moving from Old Trafford to Stamford Bridge could be a new beginning. But it's unsure if the conditions are ideal for him to succeed once more.

Al Ahli have reached an agreement with Ivan Toney, but there are still details to be finalized in their negotiations with Victor Osimhen.

Toney seems likely to complete his £40m transfer after being spotted arriving for his medical in London on Deadline Day by Sky Sports News. However, Napoli is now demanding additional funds from the Saudi club for Osimhen.

Napoli and Al Ahli have come to an agreement on a fee of approximately £67m, but Al Ahli seems to be upset as the terms of the deal have been altered. They are sticking to their initial offer and not budging.

Chelsea are working hard to secure the signing of Osimhen and conversations are ongoing with representatives in Naples.

Despite this, finalizing the deal is proving challenging due to the wage structure at Chelsea and the demands of Osimhen. It is likely that negotiations between the clubs will be smoother than resolving the personal terms.

Al Ahli have reportedly signed a four-year deal with the 25-year-old player for approximately £33.6 million per year, which breaks down to £646,154 per week tax-free. The contract also has a release clause included.

The Nigerian player has not agreed to move to Al Ahli yet, and it is believed that Chelsea still have hopes of signing him, even though they have been trying for a long time.

Napoli wants a long-term agreement or possibly just a temporary arrangement with a requirement to purchase.

The Serie A team has already signed a player who could potentially fill in for Osimhen. Romelu Lukaku recently transferred from Chelsea to the team.

Prior to accepting the offer from Saudi Arabia, Osimhen's representative Roberto Calenda stated that "he still has many goals to achieve in Europe," leaving the door open for Chelsea to make a competitive offer.

However, the football club in west London did not meet Osimhen's expectations, as Chelsea requires him to adhere to their updated salary policies.

Chelsea's quest for an experienced goalscorer to wear the No 9 jersey took a hit when Al Ahli reached an agreement to sign Toney.

The Bees contract of the England international is set to expire in less than a year.

Toney did not play in Brentford's first two Premier League matches against Crystal Palace and Liverpool. He was also not included in the squad for their Carabao Cup victory against Colchester on Wednesday.
