Erik ten Hag, coach of Manchester United, is looking forward to Jadon Sancho's success with Borussia Dortmund now that the winger has made a loan deal to return to the German league until the season's end.

Sancho and Ten Hag had an argument in September. The disagreement arose when the footballer did not want to say sorry for something he posted on social media. The post claimed that his manager was blaming him for a loss to Arsenal. Sancho felt that his manager's statement that he wasn't good enough to play at the time was untrue.

He had been sidelined at Old Trafford and has been practicing with the under-18 team. Returning to Dortmund will help him participate in regular competitive matches and might draw renewed attention to the English national player, in case United decides to put him up for sale in the future.

Ten Hag spoke about Sancho leaving by expressing his hope that he was doing well and offering his best wishes for success in the future.

The individual from the Netherlands hasn't been willing to discuss the issue that caused distance between themselves and Sancho during the four months that Sancho was away. Furthermore, they declined to engage in further conversation regarding Sancho's situation. When questioned on what Sancho must achieve while at Dortmund to regain a position in the United squad, Ten Hag replied in a short manner, stating that they have already addressed this inquiry and no more conversation on the matter is necessary.

The agreement with Dortmund is valued at €3.5m and has the potential to increase to €7.5m if Sancho performs exceptionally well for the remaining year. However, there is no compulsion or requirement to purchase, indicating that the 23-year-old will return to Old Trafford.

Sancho shared his feelings about returning to Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, mentioning that it felt like a homecoming when he entered the changing room. He also noted that he is familiar with the club and always maintained a close relationship with the fans and management.

"I am eager to reunite with my fellow team members, take to the field, enjoy playing soccer, provide assists, achieve goals and contribute to the club's successful qualification for the Champions League."
