Chelsea expected to reach agreement to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United

Chelsea is likely to finalize a deal with Manchester United for the acquisition of Jadon Sancho before the transfer window shuts down.

The young 24-year-old ex-Borussia Dortmund attacker is excited about the possibility of transferring to Stamford Bridge.

Talks between the clubs are focused on starting with a loan and then moving towards a mandatory purchase next year. They are also discussing the final price for the transfer.

Sancho rejoined the United first-team training this summer after being away since September 2023. He did not apologize to manager Erik ten Hag after their disagreement.

The player from England played for Dortmund on loan during the last half of the season. He scored three goals in 21 games, which helped the Bundesliga team make it to the final of the Champions League.

Sancho moved to United from Dortmund in the summer of 2021 in a deal worth £85 million. He is among the top-paid players in the first-team squad.

United have a strong group of players available for attacking positions, including Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Amad Diallo. In addition, they have added forward Joshua Zirkzee to their squad from Bologna this season.

Chelsea has once again spent a lot of money this summer, bringing in 11 new players including Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Filip Jorgensen to their team in west London.
