Guardiola delivers an encouraging message in light of the title challenge, urging everyone to keep pushing forward and not abandon hope. He emphasizes the importance of continued effort and determination to achieve success.

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, might have to play without Jack Grealish during the team's last match in 2023 against Sheffield United due to a burglary that took place at the English midfielder's home.

Cheshire Police released a statement saying that they received a report of a burglary in Chelford at approximately 9:50 pm on Wednesday, December 27th, which is near the town of Knutsford.

Someone called and said that some things were taken. The police sent officers, dogs and an air service to look for the thieves, but they didn't find them. They searched in the nearby area, but didn't see any clues.

Until now, no individuals have been apprehended and investigations are still in progress.

Premier League players have been targeted before. Joao Cancelo, a former player for City, had his home broken into last year. Raheem Sterling experienced a similar attack while he was away in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup with the England squad.

Guardiola acknowledged that it has become a typical occurrence in today's society and shared his gratitude that no one was injured.

Thankfully, there were no negative incidents while the family was present," the Spaniard noted in his press briefing.

In this current era, various events are occurring and today is no exception. Unfortunately, he and his family had experienced a distressing situation. However, the silver lining is that no harm had come upon the individuals present.

Guardiola mentioned that he'll assess Grealish's condition prior to finalizing the team lineup for the game versus Sheffield United, which will take place at Etihad.

The chief of City also provided news about his group of injured players. Initially, there was optimism that Erling Haaland would be able to play during the game against Chris Wilder's team. However, Guardiola confirmed that the Norwegian attacker is still unable to participate, together with Kevin De Bruyne, Jeremy Doku, and John Stones, who sustained an injury from their previous match with The Toffees.

Guardiola stated that there were no alterations compared to the previous game and that they were still experiencing the same injuries, on top of John Stones being added to the list.
