Jack Grealish: Manchester City footballer's Cheshire home targeted by burglars as he played against Everton

Thieves broke into the residence of Jack Grealish when the Manchester City soccer player was participating in a match at the beginning of the week. Allegedly, they managed to steal jewelry and watches valued at £1 million.

The burglars set their sights on the luxurious Cheshire home of the famous English footballer while he was busy playing for the winners of the Premier League title at Everton's Goodison Park stadium in Liverpool on Wednesday evening.

According to The Sun newspaper, relatives of Grealish and his betrothed Sasha Atwood were witnessing the televised game at their home when they heard a commotion.

The alarm was activated and a quick response was initiated, utilizing a helicopter, police canines, and several law enforcement agents dispatched to the premises in the vicinity of Knutsford. Regrettably, no offenders were found.

According to the newspaper, burglars escaped with jewelry and watches worth £1 million from the athlete's home.

A woman who speaks for the police in Cheshire shared that on December 27, at approximately 9:50pm, the authorities received notification of a break-in.

The person who made the call told someone that several things were taken without permission.

Police officers, with the assistance of canine units and the National Police Air Service (NPAS), were sent out to search the nearby surroundings. Despite their efforts, the perpetrators could not be found.
