Robbers broke into the residence of Jack Grealish while he was playing in Manchester City's 3-1 victory over Everton in Liverpool.

Police were alerted to a suspected break-in at a residence in Cheshire on Wednesday at around 9:50 pm, according to law enforcement officials.

The Sun newspaper reported that thieves took jewellery and watches that amounted to £1 million in value.

The police conducted a search with the assistance of trained canines and a helicopter. However, no culprits were discovered.

A representative for the police in Cheshire stated that there haven't been any apprehensions made yet, and they are still carrying out investigations.

During a pre-game media briefing, the head coach of the City football team, Pep Guardiola, shared that Grealish's relatives were present in their residence at that particular moment.

According to him, it was a difficult time for him and his kin, but thankfully, no one sustained any injuries.
