A large group of armed fighters belonging to Hamas, a Palestinian extremist organization, have unexpectedly entered southern Israel from the Gaza Strip.

Footage that is circulating on social media platforms seems to depict Palestinian insurgents firing at pedestrians walking along the roads in the town of Sderot, located in Israel.

The Gaza strip experienced severe bombings from Palestinian forces, resulting in the death of an Israeli woman.

The defence minister of Israel stated that Hamas had committed a serious error by starting a war against Israel.

Yoav Gallant remarked that Israeli soldiers are battling their adversaries in all areas, and he strongly believes that Israel will ultimately triumph in this warfare.

The IDF announced that it has transitioned to a state of readiness for war and multiple fighter jets are currently conducting air attacks on Hamas locations in Gaza.

On Saturday, shortly after dawn and the conclusion of the Jewish observance of Sukkot, there were rockets launched by Hamas, who govern Gaza.

The IDF declared that "terrorists" had entered Israeli territory "in multiple areas" as sirens went off throughout Israel.

The notification advised individuals residing in the southern and central regions to remain in close proximity to shelter areas and to seek refuge inside said shelters if they are located in the environs bordering Gaza.

A video that was uploaded on the internet seemed to portray a cluster of intensely armed Palestinian combatants clothed in somber, military-style attire cruising around in a pick-up truck located in Sderot.

In a particular recording, the identical combatants appeared to be engaging in gunfire with the Israeli authorities in the sidewalks of the village, at a distance of merely 1.6 kilometers from Gaza.

A large group of Palestinians came together close to an Israeli tank that had been set on fire along the perimeter fence between Israel and Gaza.

The Palestinian media has shared some unverified information claiming that a group of Israelis have been captured by militants. In addition to this, videos have been circulating on social media, showing Palestinians in Gaza driving military vehicles belonging to the Israeli army.

In the meantime, the rocket attacks persisted on Saturday morning, according to Israeli news outlets, who stated that over 2,200 projectiles had been fired towards Israel up until that point.

Israel's ambulance service, Magen David Adom, released a preliminary statement informing that one individual has lost their life due to the rocket attacks, while 16 others have suffered injuries, with two of them currently in critical condition.

However, a healthcare facility located in the southern city of Ashkelon disclosed that they were providing medical assistance to 68 victims all by themselves. Furthermore, another hospital stationed in Beer Sheva stated that they were attending to 80 more casualties.

An aged leader of Hamas' military declared the commencement of the mission through a transmission on Hamas media, urging all Palestinians to engage in battle.

Today marks the most consequential moment in the fight to eradicate the final instance of occupation on our planet, proclaimed Mohammed Deif.
