Numerous individuals in the UK are encountering problems with WhatsApp as of tonight (April 3rd), as evidenced by the 65,000 reports that have been submitted to DownDetector.
Over fifty percent of the grievances made about WhatsApp were due to the incapability to convey messages on the application. In comparison, approximately one-quarter of them were associated with server connectivity while roughly one-fifth were linked to the app's functionality.
A person recently shared their experience on social media, stating that they attempted to send a message at approximately 7:10pm (UK time) and encountered a problem. They mentioned that they were able to send messages properly just a minute before at around 7:09pm, however, when they tried again a minute later, the message displayed a 'clock' icon indicating a failure to send. Initially, they suspected it was due to a connectivity issue with their phone's internet, but later realized it was not the case.
One person even commented, "My device constantly displays 'connecting'."
Are Facebook & Insta Down?
People are expressing problems with Facebook messenger and Instagram which are owned by Meta.
Around 3,000 people are encountering difficulties when logging in to Instagram, and over 1,000 have stated that they are facing troubles using Facebook Messenger.
A user of Instagram expressed that some of the most important moments that were displayed on their profile have vanished. They also added that they are unable to view the individuals who have seen their story. The user is curious to know if anyone else has had the same problem.
One Messenger user asked if anyone else was having trouble with the app. They said that even though they could send messages, their friends were unable to reply to them when they wrote that they were unavailable on Messenger.
