This disruption has impacted several applications, such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

According to DownDetector, which monitors the availability of websites, more than 23,000 users in the UK reported issues with Facebook after 6 PM.

At the same time, individuals in the United States submitted more than 100,000 reports.

DownDetector reported a significant number of complaints from users who were unable to access WhatsApp, which is part of Meta's portfolio, along with Instagram and Facebook.

The outage has affected users in different ways. Some have reported that they are unable to share their own content or see comments made by others on posts.

Nevertheless, some users have experienced sluggish performance with the app, and others are unable to access the websites entirely.

This isn't the first time that these social media apps have experienced downtime. The most recent interruption happened earlier this October.
