Is Paddy Kirk dead ask Emmerdale fans as episode ends with ...

2 Mar 2023

Tonight's episode of Emmerdale has ended on a cliffhanger, leaving fans wondering what happened to Paddy Kirk.

The popular character, played by Dominic Brunt, has been struggling with his mental health ever since he found out about his wife's affair. After going missing, he returned to the village this week but viewers correctly suspected it was only to say his goodbyes.

During a heartbreaking scene tonight, he can be heard telling his sleeping daughter Eve: "I wonder what you're going to be when you grow up. I missed you, you know.

"Missed you like anything, I hope you know that. And I missed Marlon and I missed Rhona and my dad. I missed your mum.

"I don't want you to think that we weren't in love, because we were and nothing makes me more proud than the fact that we got to make you and your sister."

He then promises that no one will have to worry about him anymore from now on and that it was a relief to see how everyone "got through the past weeks" without him. He said: "I know it was hard at first, but you did it, you did it together. And you'll have to do it again."

Paddy then writes a goodbye letter to his dad Bear Wolf before disappearing again. The episode ends with his friends and family out looking for him.

Fans are now worried Paddy Kirk will take his own life. @CParkyaballs wrote on Twitter: "Oh, @emmerdale surely you’re not? Please tell me you haven’t? Killed off Paddy Kirk??"

@DionPetrie said: "I hope they get to him in time."
