Ireland’s General Election results on BBC News NI
The Irish General Election 2024 is scheduled for Friday, November 29, and BBC NI will provide comprehensive coverage of the results for its audience.

BBC News NI will provide updates and insights as the election results come in and the composition of the new Dáil starts to take shape.
Chris Buckler and Elaine McGee will host a special program to cover the election results from 6 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, November 30. Viewers can watch it live on the BBC News NI website and BBC iPlayer, and it will also be broadcast simultaneously on BBC Radio Ulster/Foyle and BBC Two Northern Ireland.
Mark Carruthers will be hosting a special extended edition of Sunday Politics at 10 AM on December 1. He'll be discussing the election campaign, its outcomes, and the upcoming steps for forming a new government with a variety of guests.
