Rishabh Pant made history by becoming the highest-priced player ever in the Indian Premier League. He was acquired by Lucknow Super Giants for a whopping Rs 27 crore during the initial day of the major auction held in Saudi Arabia.

Mitchell Starc, a left-arm fast bowler from Australia who previously held the record before the auction, was acquired by Delhi Capitals for Rs 11.75 crore.
