Following the conclusion of the first day in Jeddah, which saw an impressive total of Rs 467 crore spent by 10 teams on remarkable deals, the franchises will resume their bidding competition on Monday. They are looking to secure the remaining positions in preparation for IPL 2025, set to kick off in March next year.

On the second day of the auction, wealthy individuals will be competing to acquire prominent players such as Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Faf du Plessis, Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Deepak Chahar, Krunal Pandya, and others.

On the first day of the IPL mega auction held on Sunday, a total of 84 players participated, with 72 being sold and 12 remaining unsold. Teams were willing to spend big bucks to secure top Indian cricketers. Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant set a record by becoming the most expensive player in IPL history after the Lucknow Super Giants placed a winning bid of Rs 27 crore, surpassing Shreyas Iyer's price of Rs 26.75 crore. Additionally, Venkatesh Iyer made headlines when he was re-signed by his old team, Kolkata Knight Riders, for Rs 23.75 crore.

Who will rake in the big money today? Following some record-setting transactions, Faf du Plessis, Marco Jansen, Sam Curran, Deepak Chahar, Mustafizur Rahman, Krunal Pandya, Prithvi Shaw, Mukesh Kumar, Washington Sundar, and many others will be featured in the bidding event, where teams are prepared to invest a total of Rs 173.55 crore.
