Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were unsuccessful in reuniting at Inter Miami on Friday evening, as they played for 45 minutes in the team's unsatisfying 0-0 draw against El Salvador. These two seasoned attackers were unable to score any goals during their stint on the field.

The assailants participated in the initial segment of the match but were removed from the game during halftime, along with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. This gave them some much-needed practice time for their upcoming preseason games with their Major League Soccer squad.

Messi demonstrated occasional moments of exceptional ability from further back on the pitch - instances of precise handling and a magnificent long-range pass while Alba charged down the left side, like they did effectively in the past season.

After a little while, Suarez was spotted with ice around his right knee while he watched the second half of the game from the sidelines. This was more than likely a safety measure since the striker has been experiencing some sort of recurring issue lately.

However, the team's unsuccessful attempt to score was made worse when Facundo Farias was carried off the field on a stretcher in the second half due to a knee injury caused by a mistimed tackle by Darwin Ceren.

On Friday evening, the football match between Lionel Messi and Inter Miami against El Salvador resulted in a draw with both teams scoring zero goals.

Luis Suarez took part in the opening half of Miami's match against El Salvador, which ended with no goals being scored.

Miami has scheduled seven preseason games for the upcoming season, with the first one already played.

Miami and coach Tata Martino are hoping that the injury is not severe, though the initial observations seemed unfavorable.

Martino decided to begin with a 5-3-2 setup for Miami, where Busquets had a pivotal role in maintaining the midfield while Messi and Suarez spearheaded the team's offense. Julian Gressel also marked his debut for Miami alongside Suarez. The former Atlanta player was assigned the position of a right-wing back.

It may come as a shock that Robert Taylor from Finland, who previously harmonized with Messi during his early days with Miami, was a reserve player. However, it's premature to overanalyze Martino's team selections at this point.

However, Martino will be expecting more from his offensive players as they work to regain their physical form in preparation for the upcoming season.

Leo Campana, one of Messi's colleagues, mentioned that their focus during the first week was mainly on improving their physical abilities. Therefore, it's essential to remain composed and continue working diligently since they possess an excellent team of players.

It felt great to reunite with my fellow players. We have formed a bond akin to that of a family, and I am eager to kick off the upcoming season and prove ourselves on the field.

Estadio Cuscatlan was filled with 53,000 enthusiastic supporters who expressed their disappointment with jeers when the main players whom they had all come to see were absent during the second half. Prior to the match, they thronged the streets to give an uproarious greeting to Messi, Suarez and the Miami team.

In the 36th minute, Messi had a great opportunity to score. He made some quick passes with Busquets, who had set up the play with Alba and Suarez. Messi then took a shot with his left foot from outside the box, which bounced before reaching the goal.

While observing Miami's second half from the sideline, Suarez could be noticed sporting an ice pack on his knee.

Suarez has faced difficulty with an enduring problem in his knee during the later point of his profession.

At the moment, Miami is worried about Facundo Farias as he had to be carried away on a stretcher.

The ball was aimed directly at Mario Martinez, the goalkeeper from El Salvador. Nevertheless, he managed to deflect the ball and his defense team ensured there was no risk.

Miami is presently back in the United States and is scheduled to have a friendly match against Dallas on Monday evening. The match will take place at the impressive 92,000-seater Cotton Bowl in Dallas.

Miami is set to play their second preseason game out of a total of seven leading up to their first MLS match against Real Salt Lake on February 21st.

During this period, Miami will travel to Saudi Arabia to play a friendly match against Al-Nassr on February 1st, which will feature Messi playing against his former rival Cristiano Ronaldo.

Miami's preseason schedule includes a total of four friendly games. On January 29, they are set to face off against Al-Hilal, a football club that Brazilian superstar Neymar is a part of, albeit currently injured.

Miami is scheduled to have three more matches before ending their preseason. They will compete with a team from Hong Kong called Hong Kong XI as well as a Japanese team called Vissel Kobe. Lastly, they will go against Newell's Old Boys, which happens to be Lionel Messi's childhood team from Argentina.
