Emirates is expanding the locations for its A380 fleet with the inclusion of Bali in Indonesia.

The airline is planning to use a 2-class Emirates A380 service instead of one of the two daily services to Bali that are currently being operated by a 2-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The scheduled procedure for the A380 is:

Passengers on the Emirates A380 aircraft can opt for either Business Class, which features 58 ultra-comfortable lie-flat seats, or Economy Class, which boasts a spacious 557 seats.

In 2015, Emirates initiated a daily direct flight from Dubai to Bali, in addition to their scheduled trips to Jakarta since 1992. At present, the airline operates 28 flights every week to Bali and Jakarta, ensuring better accessibility to 29 more local cities. Emirates has teamed up with Garuda Indonesia and Batik Air to accomplish its partnership agreements.

In his statement, Adnan Kazim, the Chief Commercial Officer for Emirates, expressed that...

We are thrilled to provide our passengers with the chance to encounter the exceptional and unparalleled charm of the Emirates A380, which perfectly embodies our commitment to improve flying experiences. Connecting Bali with our world-class products and services further demonstrates our dedication to providing an unbeatable flight experience for our customers. We have cooperated extensively with Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport and would like to express our gratitude to the authorities and partners for supporting and ensuring a successful and hassle-free operation.

Bali remains a highly sought-after vacation spot within our network and important markets located in Southeast Asia. By introducing the Emirates A380 to Indonesia, we are emphasizing our dedication to the country's travel and tourism industry. Our aim is to bring more tourists to Bali while also presenting vacationers and businesspeople with more chances to access Dubai and other locations throughout Europe and the Americas via the vast global network offered by Emirates.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the aviation industry, including our company. We have experienced a significant decrease in passengers and revenue. However, we are committed to implementing various measures to ensure the safety of our passengers and employees. We have implemented strict health protocols at our airports and are continuously monitoring the situation to adapt to any changes. We hope that with the vaccination program and the easing of travel restrictions, the aviation industry will recover soon."

The upcoming use of the Airbus A380 in Indonesia will be a significant event for the local aviation industry and Angkasa Pura I. We extend a warm welcome to the Emirates A380 that will begin service in early June and we are proud to be the first airport operator in the nation to host regular commercial flights of this aircraft. This development is the culmination of effective coordination, collaboration, and teamwork between Angkasa Pura I, Emirates, and the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. We trust that the A380 flights in Indonesia, particularly in Bali, will bring about a positive impact on the country's tourism and economy, as well as inspire more joint ventures and investments across various sectors of the industry in Indonesia.

Expansion of the A380 fleet continues

Emirates is increasing its reach, and the Airbus A380 is expanding its activities as well - with 41 different locations being serviced by the impressive double-decker aircraft. The airline aims to further increase this number to 50 before the summer is over.

The Airbus A380 is a significant tool for transporting many passengers through Dubai's hub, which results in increased revenue. Its large capacity makes it an essential asset.

It shows that in some situations, the A380 remains very competitive.
