He bowls a googly next, leaving Hendricks completely baffled as the ball whizzes past his defense and hits the top of the leg stump! Jansen comes in next. He steps up to face a full delivery but tries to defend it and misses, leading to Klaasen removing the bails with a swift motion. The appeal for a wicket is loud, but the umpire shakes his head. Gerald Coetzee is set to bowl the second over. Abhishek makes an impressive start by pulling a short ball on the leg side for a FOUR! That’s India’s first score on the board. Coetzee tries again with a short delivery, but this time Abhishek chooses to let it go. Is the tactic of bowling short paying off? Coetzee sends in another short ball aimed at Abhishek’s ribs, and the batter is tempted to flick it. However, it seems to have brushed his glove as Klaasen takes the catch behind the stumps.
