During the night before Christmas, ITV broadcasted the Home Alone second installment titled Lost in New York. The movie depicts Kevin McAllister, played by Macaulay Culkin, getting separated from his family once again and finding himself in the bustling city of New York.

In some way, the thieves Marv and Harry are also present in New York, attempting to steal as the city's sticky bandits. Despite the fact that there are countless individuals residing in and visiting one of the world's most bustling areas, they come across Kevin and have a desire for retaliation.

There are many reasons to feel scared when it comes to watching the second Home Alone movie. One of these includes a character who resembles Piers Morgan, but is actually a pigeon lady. Additionally, there is a cameo appearance by Donald Trump that adds to the overall sense of fear and apprehension.

There's a particular part of the movie that is unequivocally amusing. It happens when Kevin sets up a series of snares for Marv and Harry in a deserted dwelling he accidentally discovers.

Marv experiences an electric shock which causes his skeleton to briefly appear. This moment is very well-known and memorable, but unfortunately it did not make it onto the final broadcast.

"ITV, are you serious? You took out the most hilarious part of Home Alone 2 where Marv turns into a skeleton after electrocuting himself?" Kaitlyn Murphy spotted this and shared a video of the scene in question.

Many other people were also perplexed.

Ryan, a different X user, expressed disappointment and confusion about a certain situation, stating "I was extremely disappointed. It can't just be because of the well-known internet meme, but certainly it can't be due to being too frightening, right?"

Josh, a user on social media, expressed his frustration towards ITV for potentially revealing the funniest moments of a two-hour film too soon. He suggested that it would be better for the network not to air the film at all if they couldn't present it in its entirety.

Stuart Bereton referred to it as the most enjoyable section of the movie, and several individuals concurred.

Claire Cook shared on Twitter that she initially believed she had imagined it when a particular thing wasn't shown. She is confused as to why it wasn't included.

A wave of despair has struck the fans of Home Alone as they have recently become aware of a very distressing fact in the initial movie. This transpires when Kevin hurries downstairs and discovers that his entire family has departed without him.

Recently, Macaulay Culkin received a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. His co-star and on-screen mother from Home Alone, Catherine O'Hara, delivered a speech in tribute to him.

According to her, the movie Home Alone has always been a cherished worldwide hit, and it will always remain so.

Macaulay Culkin is the reason why Home Alone is a beloved family movie worldwide and watched every year.

We have reached out to ITV for their perspective on this matter.
